This birthday went by too fast, I can’t help but feel bad about it. To think, my next birthday will be when I’m seventeen. It’s a frightening thought. The world is passing too quickly for me, and I can’t understand or catch up to it. I’m forever stuck in the past. Soon my parents will grow old, and I won’t celebrate my birthdays with them. We’ll all grow apart like the natural cruel fate of life, an I can’t think about it. I don’t want it. I feel I haven’t used up my childhood time enough yet, and I’m afraid that clock has already run out.
I don’t want to grow old. I don’t want to move forward and go on without my family. The future is too sad.
